Known for pushing social boundaries through unique installations, K Mauser is a ceramic and mixed media sculptor currently residing in Jacksonville, Florida. Originally from St. Johns Florida, they received their BA in 2024 in Studio Arts with a focus on ceramics and mixed media sculpture, and a BS in Environmental Science from Stetson University in Deland, Florida. From 2021 to 2024 Mauser worked as a Studio Arts Assistant at Stetson where they received multiple grants and awards, including the LaValle Experiential Learning Grant, Philip Anthony Memorial Award, Outstanding Senior in creative arts, and the Ann West Hall Purchase Award. While at Stetson, Mauser frequently exhibited work at the Hand Art Center and helped curate exhibits at the Gillespie Museum.
